Using it to navigate is frustrating.

I was drinking the other night in Nagoya. Book marked my hotel in the event I was to get lost. I did get lost. I used my current location feature with frequent updates to navigate myself back. I could locate my current point and where I wanted to go although without any direction indicators on the program deciding which direction to move in became a major challenge. I made it back. But it wasnt easy.
